Benefits of Bee Pollen - Testosterone

Nature's Anabolic

What is Bee Pollen

Bee pollen is a mixture of flower pollen, nectar, enzymes, honey, wax and bee secretions. Foraging honey bees collect pollen from plants and transport it to the beehive, where it’s used as food for the colony.

History of Bee Pollen

In ancient Greece, bee pollen was called Ambrosia – the food of Gods. It was said to possess the power of immortality and eternal youth. Its health benefits were well established and both the father of modern medicine, Hippocrates, and the philosopher Pythagoras prescribed it for its healing properties. Today, the German Federal Board of Health has officially recognized bee pollen as medicine.

Bee Pollen Benefits

Overview

Bee Pollen has multiple health benefits. For me, the main reasons I use it are: the immune system benefits, anti-stress and anti-inflammation properties, metabolism and muscle-mass upregulation, and its effects as an aromatize inhibitor (more Testosterone).

Immune System

I have been using bee pollen ~ 2.5 years . I used to get sick a couple of times every winter with a seasonal cold, with 3-5 days until full recovery. Since I started bee pollen, I have gotten sick once, lasting about 36 hrs until all the symptoms disappeared.

Bee Pollen is an avid bacteria and microbe killer. It also blocks the release of histamine - the chemical responsible for allergic reactions. It also directly increases the immune's system response, leading to less frequent and milder bacterial infections.

Stress

Three years ago, when the you-know-what begun, I used my new-found time to build several businesses. Undistracted by life, I put in 12-14 hr days on the regular. Expectedly, stress started to build up and I found it difficult to relax and sleep. After a lot of research I hopped on bee pollen daily. A few days later, I was tearing trough work like never before, while sleeping like a baby at night.

Bee Pollen has been found to increase blood circulation in the brain. Nervous system functions that are weakened by stress, overworking and "depression" are re-invigorated by the increased blood flow. When bee pollen is taken alongside antidepressants, scientists find patients can lower their doses and improve their condition in less time.

Metabolism

I have been bulking for a while now. Have been putting on weight at 3-4 pounds/m and still, I am as lean as it gets. Fat struggles to find its place on my body while I am building muscle like never before (relates to next point).

Studies on rats have found, mitochondrial activity depressed by food restriction was only improved by refeeding with diets including bee pollen. Diets containing bee pollen improve muscle mass and metabolism in old, undernourished rats. This is the closest to a human study I could find, my experience definitely matches up.

Bee Pollen Aromatize Inhibitor

Increased Testosterone

Bee Pollen contains chrysin, a flavonoid with strong aromatase inhibition effects. Aromatase is an enzyme that converts testosterone into estrogen. This conversion is a natural process of the human body, but nowadays, it has become unbalanced.

External sources of estrogen (Xenoestrogens) are present in the food and water we consume (from tap water to milk and meat) due to plastic and other pollutants present in our environment. Partially inhibiting the conversion of testosterone into estrogen in our own bodies can lead to advantageous outcomes.

Once again, all the studies are on rats, nevertheless, the results are impressive. One study found that after 4 weeks on a diet containing bee pollen, rats had serum testosterone levels of 3.28 pg/ml, compared to the control group sitting at 2.23 pg/ml. Rats that consumed the pollen had a whopping 47% higher testosterone level.

Since starting to use bee pollen regularly, I have noticed several effects that suggest higher levels of testosterone. Muscle seems to grow easier, sex life is better, and the amounts of energy I have daily are unprecedented.

Conclusion

Personally I have experienced tremendous benefits from regular bee pollen usage. From the ability to undergo more stress and getting sick less often, to enhanced muscle gains, mood and overall higher testosterone effects. A lot of people have been asking me about it, especially in my last posts so...

I created a few samples of the one I use, (I get it from a local beekeeper where I live in Greece), and I will be including them for free in every order of mastic made this week for you to try. If you like it, please let me know, and I will make it available as a product. Number of samples is limited, act fast.😉
